Trusting God

Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!
Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.

Know that the Lord, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.

I have been witness to so many good things that God has done. It just overwhelmed me this weekend of just how GOOD God truly is. In the past several months, many ladies in my small group have had serious physical issues ranging from life-threatening to a bad knee and I have watched these precious women rally around each other and come before God for each need. God heard each prayer and answered. It has been an amazing thing to witness.

Have you ever been overwhelmed by God’s goodness, grace, love, or forgiveness? It is a humbling and amazing experience. He is so faithful that we can trust Him above all even when it doesn’t make any sense to us; we can rest in the truth that He is completely trustworthy. He has proven Himself over and over and over again and I am overwhelmed.

As you begin your week, I want to remind you that GOD IS SO GOOD.

I challenge you to take a moment and remember those times He has proven Himself faithful, those times He’s heard your prayer and answered you. Then take a moment to thank Him and give Him the praise that He deserves.
